Henni Cottle is a multi-disciplinary designer, artist, and educator who has been working with clay as a medium since 2015. Her work is inspired by heritage, mid-century modernism and her love of nature. She earned a BFA in communication design from Parsons School of Design in New York City in 2009. After years of working as an exceptional product and visual designer, she was inspired to start her own business in 2017, where she founded Heritera, a small-batch ceramic shop where she sells her ceramic works as well as collaborative works made with her husband, Frank Bosco, a life-long artist, ceramist, photographer and educator.
Much of Henni’s work explores the balance between color, movement and negative space. Simple forms made in clay serve as an ideal canvas for her signature, occasionally intricate, nature-inspired motifs.
When she’s not teaching classes or in the studio, she enjoys gardening and long walks with her son and husband in nearby Liberty State Park.
